The DS98 AC surge protector is used for the ‘secondary’ protection of the single-phase networks against the surge voltages created by lightning. DS98 is equipped with an internal thermal safety that will disconnect the unit from the AC network in case of end of life. This disconnection will be indicated by the turning on of the red LED in the front. Very compact, the DS98 surge protector must be installed close by the equipment to protect, downstream from a ‘primary’ surge protector. DS98 provides both common and differential mode protection.
